We are going away this weekend, but have drawn a blank. I need ideas please. Looking for somewhere within 3 hours of Surbiton and would prefer wild camping.

We have been to:
Weymouth and Portland Bill
Poole, Studland, Swanage, Corfe Castle
Stonehenge and Avesbury
St Mary's Bay and Camber Sands
The Witterings and Bracklesham
Ossmington
St Margarete's

Soooo, anything else you can add would be great.

This is about an hour away from your house as a sleepy spot, you cant really see by the picture but that is over looking the sea,

Maybe followed by a walk here for a couple of hours on the Saturday,

That leads you down to here,

Then back toward home to here maybe for the Saturday night,

This is when I have used that spot a couple of times, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuxrSRk1fm0 and a very nice walk down to an amazing pub for some Sunday lunch before you drive the 40 minutes back home.

Nice one Jed. Isn't that the scenery for your television appearance!!

Looks very good. Don't suppose you have coordinates please?

Has there been anymore thoughts on the wild camping map?

Thanks Jed. We had a great weekend. We stayed at Firle Friday and Saturday night. Great spot. Went to Seven Sisters on the Saturday had a nice bike ride. then onto Beachy head. Arrived a few minutes after someone decide to jump. So didn't stay too long. Went to Brighton Sunday morning then home.

Can't wait for the map to be up and running again.

When I did that TV thing they gave us a free run of the area and access to all the hills around there. It was awesome in the syncro driving right up the Seven Sisters hills

Really want to go wild camping but never done it before and dont want to be looking down the barrel of an angry farmers side by side at at 2 am

we always use campsites with leccy hook ups and nice showers which is ok but sometimes a little sanitised, gotta get some use from me new syncro thats what I bought it for,

Jeds wild camping guide/map might be just the ticket. problem is as with all things the more people that know can have a negative effect!!
