Hi
I have an 1986 T25 1.9 and have coolant pressuring out of top up tank. Fitted new caps times 4 and had one new expansion tank split. Recon engine has done about 5000 miles. New Radiator/hoses/thermostat/pump etc new. Cracking me up Any ideas?

Thanks

Martin

Martin I think you have a gasket leak, that's pressurising your cooling system
you can get the coolant combustion gas tested to be sure.

either that or there's an unfound blockage

gasket or a cracked head... presume the thermostat is actually working and it isnt just boiling up..

Thanks Guys.

Its not overheating. Gas test showed no hydrocarbons. So maybe try to bleed again!

Have now bled front up and back up. Am now fed up.

Shall need to give a good run to see if she still pressures up.

I purchased all parts from JustKampers. The pressure cap does make me a little suspicious though. Do you think I should go to original part?
