How do I remove the hi-top roof on my T25?

Hi Everyone,
I have a 1988 VW T25 with a Holdsworth Vision conversion. Of course she is very rusty so I am in the process of removing the interior to get the bodywork treated properly but I am at the stage where I need to remove the fibreglass hi-top . Does anyone have any experience of removing the roof? I would be very greatful if anyone could pass on some tips
