Hello.

Looking at an awning for the van. But preferably a pull out one especially for short trips really! The f45 ti looks the one. Anybody have one and any comments or pictures? What size is a good one to get, I am a solo traveller apart from my dog so do not need masses of space to be honest.

Oh, here's mine....I got the longer one to cover the sliding door a bit better....

remember that the gutter mounting kit for the windouts are the wrong side of £50 .

The T/Ti etc just represents the evolution of the product (Ti being the latest unless there has been another model since mine that I'm not aware of)
This type store in a solid box and are wound out with a handle (can be errected easily by one person)

2.5 metre looks best but a 3metre does give slightly better cover over the sliding door although I have to say I've never had any real problems with my 2.5 whilst raining (it seems to give enough overhang to prevent rain entering an open sliding door)

Then of course there are the 'bagged' type (where you manually roll the fabric into a zip up sleave) the sleave part is attached to the van.
These are called 'Caravanstore' they are much cheaper and do a similar job. However, they are a little more difficult to errect, don't look quite as good and are best/more easily errected with two people...horses for courses.

Unless it's a zip awning like the one Red Westie (and myself) have fitted. Sides and a front can be fitted to 2.5m zip versions
