Disconnected cable in engine bay, what is it?

Hi, Notice this dangling around, what is it?

Havent got my Haynes manual at work, but read something about a function which looks at the emission at higher Rev range?

Mmmmm - if it's been disconnected, you might find you have issues with high revs once you join it back together?!

it's for the aircon that's not fitted, it's usually cable tied to the loom just below the ignition amplifier
the two that join together for the idle control are to the right of it above the tstat housing
