Vacuum pipe

Hi don't know if this question should be on the alternative fuels. Iv'e been running the van (1.9 carb westcounty high top) on gas (LPG) for 2 years with no real problems. In fact she seems to be running better now than when she was first converted. The thing is the vacuum pipe seems to corrode near the carb ever 2months or so I check all the pipes regularly and the van is a daily drive.
Any help
Nik

Vacuum pipes should not corrode... metal corrodes
unless you mean perish as they are rubberised.

new synthetic vac pipes are available ay any good motor factor

Change the vac pipe for another material. Some rubberised types swell up with heat and fumes of an engine and then slip off.
