I will soon be back, ive almost done the body work, just the drivers side sill left to go now.
What do you all think of my nose job?

Its gone back by about 2 inch and up by a modest 12mm but it will all help to stop the nose digging in !

Educate me please - what's 'tip dip'?
(Shouldn't that be kept in the bedroom?)

Tip dip is "anti splatter paste", you dip the welder torch in it (when hot) it stops the weld splatter sticking to the tip/shroud and the work peace, when im working on big fabrication jobs ive also got spray on stuff the you water down (1litre makes about 10l !) and spray on the work peace, vurtually no splatter sticks to that. but what can be seen it the pic basicly makes all the welder consumables in the torch last longer its not expensive and a small tin lasts ages

Been a while as nowt interesting to see
But ive now made my truck style mirrors donated from a freind, there from a mk1 shogun, with a bit of modification

Sat am i had this lot to fit and the engine still on the bench needin a couple of hours work

so i got on with it, making good use of the slightly over the top engine crane

Once the engine and box were in i called it a day, today ive got all the pipes and electrics done on it and made a exzorst

With my normall use or lack of silencers
Got my tyres coming next week, then got to mod my rear trailing arms and get the front diff in then im about ready for mot and back on the road for the end of the month i hope

Good job on the nose. Looks great! . I remember the guys at syncro-nutz doing a similar nose job with one of their 14"projects

Apparently it made a huge difference offroading so I reckon your set up will be awesome when you hit some deep whoops

No i cant run a bumper, its welded in there to make the new front, the top is half the with of the old deformation pannel the bottom is only about 10mm front to back, just enough to bolt a belly pan to when i get that far
I was ment to be red arrows red, but i think the paint was a little old and not sprayed in ideal conditions
I hope it will make a difference off road, i was allways diging it in before.
