Would that be the Idle Stabilizer ?

took mine off my last 2.1DJ and bypassed it, made no discernible difference to me.

Mudlark - LDA is something extremely long in german , im sure someone on here will impress us all with their knowledge shortly.
Supplies the extra fuelling when engine makes boost/positive pressure in manifold.

Never seen on forums anyone replace one, second hand pump appears to be the order of the day. Never taken one apart on a JX but AAZ/SB/RA etc etc all are pretty simple as you can just replace the diaghragm.
Is the 'can' on a JX crimped on making it a non-servicable item ? Never looked TBH. I am guessing the only part that could go wrong in JX is spring/diaphragm. I dont know how much effect being REALLY full of oil would have on it-not good i guess.
ETOS is on my other pc but im guessing obsolete or having your kidneys removed thr' your 'arris from VW. Im sure dieselkontor had em a while back. Secondhand pump to strip for parts maybe?

Yes your right Elvis, the oil in it might be a red herring though [blocked breather?]and yes it's a crimped can thingy, the diaphragm is leaking so it is'nt pushing the lda spindle right round [to max fuel enrichment].
I heard"Diesilkontor" are a bit dodgy so i'm not to keen on using them.
Bernd jaeger [der bully] has them 170euro's though.
I'd still appreciate the part number/s as i think they are syncro specific.
Ta.

nope, nothing syncro specific about them, they are the same on all jx engines (1.6td)

They seem to have disappeared from the market momentarily though, some webshops show them as currently unavailable

Will check ETOS later when i go upstairs unless someone else has it to hand first.
Plenty of chaps doing AAZ , spare pump maybe ? secondhand is gonna be infinitely cheaper than VW (if not obsolete)

Seen this

I live in Exeter but work the otherside of Brizzle. If you cant get em posted if Jeff is flat out , i can collect em and strip LDAs for you and post em on? :idea

Cheers Elvis, i have replied to Jeff to see if any of the pumps have a working lda actuator,i would'nt mind a pump to practice on as i plan to replace the seals on mine.
Peasant hi,i've seen two part numbers on the Dieselkontor site 1 467 212 301a [for bus] and 1 467 212 301b[for pickup] so am being very careful, Bernd Jaeger lists only one though.
Sunny n warm here!.

Not a part you could get separatley from VW
Bosch don't have any, I've had them on back order for about 18 months.
They are not obsolete and I am told Bosch are looking for someone else to make them for them, but they never do.
I've exhausted my second hand ones and was maybe looking into getting some billet ones made.
DieselKontor sells a repair kit also I believe.
