Just noticed that this Anti roll Bar link? is snapped.
2 questions if i may?
1) Will it be ok to use the van on the weekend (approx 250 drive) or do i neeed to change it asap.
2) Does anyone know exactly what parts i should order?

you can drive it like that.they are usually called a drop link.heres what vw call them.8a (click pic to enlarge)..

go very comonly also very easy to change one nut really
it attatches to the anti roll bar so when you corner fast or hard stops the van wanting to well roll

Thankyou, got a trip planned for the weekend and dont have time to change it before then so was hoping that it would be ok to use until i can get chance to change it.

gsf wanted silly money when i asked,but in their defence..i was skint,so drilled n tapped it,shoved a length of(8mm i think?) threaded bar in,then bought new rubbers n washers....been ok for 12 months so far

Common problem this!
The little metal tube (marked No.6 on Robs piccy) usually rusts in place and prevents movement that you should have between the rubbers. This then causes the rod to snap at the top of the thread.
As oldiguana says, grind the snapped end flat, centre punch it, drill and tap a new thread and stick in a length of threaded bar cut to length. Did this to mine over 6 years ago now and still going strong.
Just make sure that little tube is free to move and slap plenty of silicone grease around it when you reassemble.

I did the same..
Because the collar had siesed it made the hole in which it fits bigger , so I put a bigger thread [old jack]and bigger collar [top of a old shocker]..I cannot do threads , so I just cut a piece off and welded a nut...
