Fuel tank vents.

When my Westy 2.0L AC was in for a tune up last year, I asked the garage to drop the tank and test the fuel sender as the gauge always read empty. Anyway, they broke one of the fuel tank vents and if I fill up too full now, I get wet feet. :?

I've been advised to fit screw in metal vents straight onto normal fuel line to the overflow tanks.

3 questions, where do I get them, and has anyone done this before? Do you have to drop the tank out?

Thanks!

Bad luck :?

It never ceases to amaze me how clumsy some garages can be. My tank was out 3 times in 2 months by Steve Shaw and Si Baxter without a problem. Seems like some garages bugger things up and then do nowt about it :?

Simon & Steve have both had numerous tanks out no doubt, but the average garage who hasn't done one of these doesn't know (and will never look at the instructions) that it is possible to break bits off if it is dropped clumsily.
