sorrybut its not gonna work too well i think.
If you were to use it you need to remove the lacquer from the copper tape , and even then it wont mend tears .
i repaired one once with self adhesive silver tape (like tin foil with a adhesive backing) but it wasnt that succsessfull because the adhesive on the back was non conductive, but it was much stronger than the paint.

I used that paint to repair a flexi-ribbon in an old Psion 5 organiser. I guess the theory is the same. The Psion's ribbon was made up of two sheets of plastic film with the connector tracks sandwiched between them. To repair that track I had to get the paint between the plastic sheets where it was cracked. As long as you can get the paint on to the actual conductor it should work. It only worked for a few months on the Psion until the paint cracked because the ribbon flexed as it was opened & closed.

possible corroded circuit board in the dash pod or the big multiplug connector that is between the steering column and the fresh/hot air pipe may need cleaning up with a scouring pad. If the tracks are broken on the circuit board they can be fixed with the silver paint that you get from maplins for fixing the heater wires on the rear glass of vehicles

You could always try conductive copper tape such as http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Adhesive-Copper-F ... 53dd50c33a after removing the lacquer/? from the affected tracks. I've used it when making up solar panels and is effective. It will be more flexible than using the paint which will easily crack on flexible plastic.
