There's a site called vagcat
http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/vw/T2/
choose your year of van then it will take you to the categories of parts ..

you must register to see the images

No van that I know of was fitted with longer studs.
that would have been done to fit non VW alloys, I should think

thanks for the reply but is there a site that does the opposite to vagcat-
or am i missing something there, that is instead of entering my van details to find the part,
i`d like to enter the part number to find what it fits

I think you can search VAGCAT with the Pt No - just select to search vagcat not google.

I don't think that works gandalf

surely it's easier to click on your van year
then click the group your part is in ie. engine, clutch... Brakes, wheels....rear axle...body and so on
find the part..
read off the VAG number...

ring GSF with the VAG number
ask for a price

Get a stiff drink

OOpps my bad!

I normally go down the route you describe - I find it quite enlightening and very useful when wanting to see how things connect together for repairs etc.

indeed.. and you find out that there is a whole heap of stuff missing... according to the diagram, that you dropped on the floor when dismantling it.
