Evening all,i've been trying to check the boost pressure [using a modded tyre gauge] and found that the pressure is too low to register on the gauge,so i looked at the lda while my daughter drove the van up a very steep hill[2 gear full throttle!] ,the actuator did push the lda to the max fuel position but was a bit slugish.
The question is should air leak out of the actuator?[it does on mine!].
Any thoughts/advice,ta.

Hi, there sahould not be any air leaking. A simple test is to (with engine stopped) is to disconect the pipe to the lda then move the actuator to full against the spring and block the connection witn your finger. The lda will move back a little then stop as the vacumn caused holds it untill you take your finger off. If it just keeps moving with connetion blocked the diaphram is faulty , replacments can be baught for euro 70 or so
