Pulsating brake pedal after new wheel fit

Hi

i have recently purchased some 15" alloys (from vanfest) as a start to improve the looks and handling maybe of my 1984 1.6TD T25. I now get brake pedal shudder in accordance with the road speed when i brake, its fine for normal driving. Harder shudder at higher speeds, it wasn't noticeable before the wheel change. I have taken the wheels (with new tyres) back to the tyre company for a balance check and they were fine, i have removed the front wheels and checked with a DTI for the discs warping, they seem fine albeit a little worn! All the joints and linkages are solid with no play. The tyre company suggested that it may be the wheel bolt holes out of true (i.e not on the 112 PCD), haven't checked this yet.

any ideas greatly appreciated.

I would think the change in ET (more wheel hanging off the bearing) has exagerated what was probably there in the first place.
Wheel ballance is quite different to brake judder, oval tyres give a low speed shimmer through the steering wheel, non of which is the same fault as yours.

you may need to remove them depending on your wheels.

missing is not a prob you dont need them
