I want to fit a second courtesy light and I'm pretty sure that the wiring will not be present when I cut through the lining.
This means feeding three wires down through the pillar and across to the other side.
Has anyone any tips with regard to feeding the wires through?

I used some thing like piano wire.

The best thing is the stuff electricians use which is very strong plastic cable stuff, but mine's always got knots in, so being lazy I often resort to the low E-string on a guitar - .44 or anything bigger steel wound hex core I've done it with two tied together on mine if it's not quite long enough....

I have fitted extra courtesy lights and I found an old net curtain wire was great, stiff enough to easily fed without bending and if you bend the end slightly it will find exits and pass round corners. The wire can be attached to one end using gaffer tape, any way it worked for me good luck
