hi does anyone no where the engine numbers are located.also did they do a 2.4 diesel

engine number on which engine?

diesel or petrol?

Hi mate,
Ryan is my brother in law. He posted this whilst I was havin log in issues but as you can see they are sorted ( cheers moderators).
It is about my diesel engine, got the van a couple of weeks ago, the previous owner says it's a 2.4 td but I can't find evidence that they did one of these in that size ( it's a B reg). The engine is well dirty so it will take ages to clean whilst hunting for the number so any info you could give to save time would be good.

If it's an original TD engine in a T25, its a 1.6. If it's been swapped, its likely a 1.9. I think the bigger LT vans came with a 2.4.

LT is an abbreviation for something German that means something like Cargo Transporter, I think.

Doesn't look like mine. I suppose the best way is to find the engine number. Can anyone help where they are on the diesel block? Save me a messy afternoon?

The engine number is stamped on the engine block.
On diesels - Between and below injector numbers 3 and 4.
