Do you mean you have no gutter left? I think you can get a rail to screw to the side of the hitop!!!
Do you mean the 8`s are too long? Cut them into short sections as I have done because of my Fiamma, this makes the whole fitting job easier for me!!

yes i have some gutter depth left, but the roof rack fits to gutter, so one long piece of fig 8 does not fit ! but i see what you mean i could cut fig 8 into 3 peices to fit either side of roof rack

but that would mean if it rained it would leak. i have thought about putting a fig 8 rail on hi top but theres still the problem of the roof rack. and there is no room under gutter to fit fig 8 rail !!

You should have a pole that threads thru awning & sits in the gutter you can get 2 clamps from JK to hold pole in place--

me n all....
A hi-top with a roof-rack that mounts on the gutters sounds like a long legged beast. I'd be worried

yep a four legged beast that fits on the gutters to carry surfboards!!!!
i would say the best option is to cut a fig8 in 3 bits to attatch around the clamps dont think there is any other way
