that will go for 9k+ I reckon
at least it's standard caravelle without the big bumpers etc that DaveWBX6's has, no pics of the engine or exhaust which is odd ?

I love the silver overspray on the wheels! An absolute classic giveaway that things haven't been done properly in the present and probably past. It has no German mot (TUV) and is only ever driven on short-distance/show plates. I wonder why...

Interesting that the engine has had a whole lot of dosh spent on it recently, but no mention of how well it drives/pulls etc. The seller is keeping his cards close to his chest, me thinks...

I like the bit about a "writ from my lawyer" and "personal visit from me" if you don't pay up if you are the winning bidder! Bit of a geezer, then

Shouldn´t an original Oettinger have the Oettinger logos in the tach and speedo faces?

And Oettinger logo, like this:

Wouldn't say my german is perfect but from that add it sounds like this was a normal 16" syncro which has later had an original oettinger motor installed? Says engine was installed in 1993 but the build date of the syncro was 1988

I think that's a digital "error" from using a cheapo camera. It doesn't appear on the other photos.
Does have an Oettinger build options sticker/commission plate though...

I'm not in the market, who cares?
Prospective owners should request better photos, methinks. Including some of the all-important engine!

Am I correct?

Didn't Oettinger also tune 4pot WBX's so not every add quoting "Oettinger" means it has a WBX6?

The Oettinger WBX 2500E motor has 4 cylinders. 2.5l 98mm bore and 82mm stroke.

This plate is a guide to engine operation. It has information on which spark plugs to use plus ignition timing, fuel, etc.
I don't know much about oettinger syncro's myself. Were they a conversion done later or a factory option?
Only has 84kw. I initially thought this was the 6 cylinder beast!
