Webastos are cheaper 2nd hand than Eberspachers.
Airtop 2000 is what you are looking for.
How come you have a petrol one in a diesel van? (They are as safe as carrying around a tank full of petrol.) Flog it off - someone will be glad to have it.

well the reason is i think is that the van was a patrol when it come out the shop and before it got shipped over here they fitted a 1.6td in to her and i just got her this summer for a road trip but now the winter is coming i like to still get out and about with it so its time for a new heater
will it be best to buy new or 2nd dont wont to feel like i'm burning my coin before i get it lol

Webastos
Airtop 2000 i'll hav a look about on the net today

I do and your worries are misplaced fella
I and others have propex on thermostat.. they are the safest gas heater you could possibly fit as the hot air is just that...hot air

the 2.1 kw propex uses 142 grams/hour (continuous running)

OK I dug up my old figures

I used to use 907 bottles which only contain 2.75kg of gas, my propex is a 1.6kw .. the bottles will only lasted for 19 hours continuous use. As the units cycle to maintain temperature, this will work out to 20-30 hours of actual time the unit is switched on as the burner will be off for some of the time, depending on the ambient temperature outside I guess

I'll be getting an Eberspacher Airtronic D2 eventually. They come up on ebay second hand fairly regularly out of old Ford Transit ex BT vans. You can get a service kit for them (with new gaskets etc) and all sorts of automatic timers.
