hey do i need to weld up the old oil filler on the 1y- just concerned oil may leak from there when the engine gets wedged in at the funny angle, thanks

no need, i didnt and its fine, if you try to weld it up you run the risk of warping the cam cover and then it will leak round the edges.

oh thats reassuring, has anybody else just left it unwelded? thanks
