Auto transmission fluid recomendations?

Hello again,
2.1 WBX Auto which type of fluid should be used in the auto transmission? Just bogo ATF4 or something more prefereable?
Also what is the final drive oil please.

i use this ATF.part no G 052 162 A2 get it from your local vw dealership..

I used Dexron II ATF from GSF in mine, but it is an early air cooled so your WBX might be different
As for the final drive, I used EP 90 Gear oil. Dont think it matters if its GL4 or GL5 as its only a final drive. The distinction between GL4 and GL5 is only an issue in manual boxes.
If your changing the ATF fluid, one thing i wished i had done when I changed mine was measure how much came out, as i found getting the level right when re-filling quite difficult due to the invovled nature of checking the level (ie; level must only be checked after ATF is up to temp after a 5-6 mile drive!)
If I had checked how much had come out it would have been a good starting point for re-filling.
