Hi,

Does anyone know why a 20amp inline fuse from main battery to leisure battery circuit could blow?
Could it be input surge?

What is the correct amps reading when starting and running?

I have has an issue with the rear light wiring shorting out/getting wet causing a fault on indicator, could this cause this fuse to blow?

Any help would be appreciated i am having a good look tomorrow.

Regards dave

Because you have an under rated wiring/charging system.

If the leisure battery is very low on charge then it is possible when the charging first begins from the engine that at least 20 amps can flow into the battery, causing the fuse to blow. If you don't fancy upgrading your split charging circuit, then try to make sure the leisure battery isn't too low on charge before running the engine.

The brake and indicator problem sounds earth related. Check earth connections from rear light cluster and clean/replace if necessary.

Thanks for the replys seems the fuse on leisure battery side seems to be ok at the moment I thought both faults might be related,I bought the correct relay split charghing kit i will keep an eye on this but I am stuck with earth fault??
