just been up to oban and back a 269mile round trip the van did 25mpg is this right. its a 1980 1600 Aircooled viking camper thanks

Yes I know it sounds hard to beleive but are you sure? coz thats a figure I never got, was always the low 20's

I'm no expert as i've only had my 2 litre Aircooled a day but that sounds about right. With my auto gearbox i don't expect to get more than 20-22 mpg

Can I have your engine? Consistent 17-18mpg here
