Hi all
have been having momentary aloss of power (1.9tdi) while under load at highish revs(almost like blocking jet on a petrol)could it be that?
not knowing mutch about the heavy oil engines thought it would be wise to ask on here.
seems to have started after I filled up at Settle maby thats the cause!
or could it be a turbo prob?
will try a injector cleaner and see if that has any affect
cheers

I would get it plugged in and the fault codes read, possibly the renowned air flow meter failure, could also be boost pressure control solenoid, knacked turbo or the cat has collapsed depending who fitted the TDI, cats can block the exhaust as used to happen to the old A4's and Passats.

I have VAG diagnostic facilities at the garage if you get stuck with it, I know how normal garages shy away from such conversions.

Also, brake light switches or clutch pedal switches can cause such problems, again it depends on who did the conversion and how they wired it up.

Simon.
