I have a very nice T25 and want to fit a diesel engine whats the easiest one? My dad seems to think theres a very cheap SEAT that will fit straightaway?
Any ideas?

Seat Toledo Diesels have 1.9TD AAZs in them... with a JX (1.6TD T25) set of parts you can fit one of these relatively easily, just having to custom an exhaust, but based on JX layout...
Theres info here (Alt Engines), Wiki and the Brickyard on diesel fitting

If you have a very nice petrol T25 then don't spoil it by converting it to tractor engine, imho, just use it and enjoy it as it was built

I believe the head has a bolt in it???
Therefore, I purchased another petrol engine for spares but I have had a machanic look at it and he said it wasn't worth making two engines out of one????
Therefore, do I need a new engine???
