Hi,
My project is glacierly moving forward.
Thinking about battery power now. Wanting to fit leisure battery for running amp, compressor fridge, maybe invertor & lights.
I know JK do the kit but is that the one to go for? Anywhere else?

:ok

Off to check WiKi for a wiring, how do, plan....... :?

you wont be running your fridge off your leisure battery mate.the 12v side of it runs off your alternator when the van is running.this looks like a decent bit of kit.ebay

I fitted one of the split charge kits as mentioned by rob, the instructions were good and easily understood even by me!,not the cheapest out there but would reccomend it no problem

I have just fitted this week a kit from these people

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/INTELLIGENT-Volta ... 567wt_1137" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not the cheapest but after speaking to the man on the phone I was convinced that this was a good kit and would last the distance, the kit arrived and was easy to fit, the instructions where clear and easy to follow and having tested it with a multi meter seems to do the job !

Just checked this link and it is the same place where I bought mine from, the only difference with mine is that I went for the ' intelligent ' version which does away with the need for the blue wire from the alternator.
