Hi can anyone help please.

I have a horizontal crack appeared about 2" above the cab on my T25 high top, can anyone tell me which would be the best material to repair this with please. The crack is just a couple of mm wide but runs along the top. I am not sure if I need a fibreglass type filler or a tube waterproof sealant kind.

Most likely just the gel-cote or top-cote thats cracked. You can get small tubes of this for repairs at most boat chandlers or on ebay (remember to get the white one if this is the colour of your roof!).
Silicone sealant can do the job but can also attract dirt over time so the above option is the best. It can be easily sanded down if put on a bit thick too.

I used gelcoat on mine but found it as "hard as a whores heart" to sand down.
Did I do something wrong?

It should be fairly easy to sand. The stuff I use at work doesn't take a lot of work to bring it down to level with surrounding surfaces but there are different makes of this stuff so I would imagine there's different hardness levels when it's gone off. Yours sounds like it was the extra hard mix!
