Is there anybody that does a repair panel for the sliding door cover. Im actually after the small ridge panel that the sliding door cover and seal sit in. I have had to remove it to sort some rust underneath but its not in great shape itself. I could reuse but as im stripping and respraying the van i want to do it right.

Jim, you will be lucky to find one of these as a replacement panel, you sound like the sort of chap who could quite easily fabricate one if you put your mind to it,,then when you do give us a shout if you decide to produce them in numbers for all of us to use.
Good luck in your search,,,

I have not seen that small channel anywhere as a repair piece, would advise keeping the best part of your old one and trying to replicate it. I appreciate it could be difficult as the part in question is quite thick gauge and only a small U shape. Another choice would be a donor part from a breakers. Let us know how you get on with it.

Its worth looking into, I dont think its that importand to follow the profile exactly, ie; the castelated effect, this has its purpose but it can be achieved in other ways ,certainly the folding aspect isnt that difficult given the right press

got loads of die rails

when mine is done will have to look at making some of the common but unavailable bits
