She should be sorted now, Dugcati has the bits

welding the hole up is do able and not a problem though not worth the time and effort when the bits are available.

Hello!!
Yesssss!!!!,
Iv'e got myself a pile of CT bits, and theyr'e MINE all Mine!!!! HaHaHaHa.
I'll be able to line up all the cylinder heads and GLOAT HaHaHaHa!!
No seriously, the whole idea of this is to have a reserve stock.
Buffy, When I get back to France I will sort and inspect all the bits and let you know what we've got.
The problem with cylinder heads is that very small cracks can appear, for example between the valve seats. These are often difficult to detect. Typical diagnosis on vehicle is an occasional spitting misfire at tickover.
Before you start flinging money about getting beetle heads fitted, let's look at what Father Xmas has brought!!
I will be in touch in about a week.
Commercial postage from France is very reasonably priced.
Cordialement,
