HI folks

i'm thinking of finally fitting a consumer unit in my camper. As i have sliding doors both sides fitting the inlet socket on the side is a no go.

Hence i'm thinking of fitting it under the van ie to the chassit under the wheel arch. Has any one any advice to the pitfulls and would you say this kit (link below) would suffice.
I don't need anything special as we normally have the electric hook up to the awning where our kitchen etc is situated and take a cable from there through the van window to provide some power for the light in the van. This is for times we don't take the awning.

Cheers

Dave

There's a few threads where people have fitted the inlet socket on the inside of the number plate flap, it's another option for you
:D

The Towsure kit looks pretty much like everything you need.

You don't have to fit it where a door would cover it - mine is on the rear quarter just to the rear of the rear washer bottle.
