Rolling road result!

After a lot of phoning around i managed to find a rolling road that would fit the van, worked with Dellorto's and was only 45 mins away. RE Performance centre in Bury, Great old school bloke.
Started with 44bhp at the wheels, after re-jetting from 120 mains to 136, tweaking the accelerator cable so the butterflies opened fully, checking the electrics and tweaking the timing and 2.5 hours later i now have a fantastic 58bhp at the wheels. He recons thats between 75bhp to 80bhp at the flywheel. I'm sure somebody will correct this, but all i can say is it is like a different van. We are now going up hills without having to drop down a gear and revving the balls off of it. I can now fully understand why people put Dellorto's on as an upgrade.
Thanks to everyone for their help and advice

I had mine done 2 years ago, and was the best 80 quid tune up I have ever had.
Will be going in again in September.

Has anyone used Tipton Garage near Sidmouth in Devon? I'm going to give then a call next week but just wondered if anyone on here had any knowledge of them.

Been past that garage many times, never really payed it any attention, looks promising though. Old school mechanics.

Nice pub in the village. (Tipton St John)

I've done a bit of looking around and found quite a few recomendations on various different forums (including volkszone). All are very positive but I don't know if they can take vans. Looks like a quick phonecall in the morning then.

Looks like they got the room.
There are a few of us around here to make use of them.

Old-school mechanics... what is the implication here?
Good/bad/indifferent...

ive just come back from a tune up on their new rolling road setup at Manchester Air Cooled , what a difference. i had suspicions it was running a bit rich before hand, but i didnt have anything to compare it with really. its a 2.1 injection, and havnt driven any other t25s.
anyway, it was running at 8 or 9:1 i think he said previously (had van for 8 months), now its at 14.5/7:1 and is like a new engine! feels great its at 90bhp at the wheels now.
im waiting for the print outs from the laptop for all the number gubbins and ill see if make head or tail of that stuff.
hopefully itll get a bit more mpg too? (or rather im guessing i wont need to put the pedal down so much to match the driving id been doing before? which was pretty gentle tbh) anyway well chuffed and now i can feel the full benefit of the 2.1 fuel guzzler

But what was causing that rich mixture...
90 at the wheels.. that's very good.

Syncrosimon - are TSR still in Bridgwater - once my Aircooled Westy gets back from the bodyshop I was planning to get it tuned - managed Taunton to Crewe in 4hrs last month - and the same back again (National Express coaches helped pull us in their slipstream!) but it's a bit sluggish on the hills down to Plymouth......

There is a chap in dorset not far from the dual carriageway between dorchester and bere regis. used him 10 yrs ago.
A village in the middle of no-where on a farm. He has a barn RAMMED with all sorts of classic cars . remember a few Mk1 lotus cortinas - all with original plates and rally livery (a red/gold one aswell as white/green), porsches etc etc. Mostly ex race/rally cars.
Set up my 1914 on the bug and was amazing , proper old school. Will try and find out/remember where he is.
