Erratic speedo needle?

Just changed the speedo cable and you would think the needles on a spring any ideas, was smooth before I changed it, from Baxter too so not a shiite one?

You probably got a kink in it. check how you routed it and make sure there are no sharp bends.

No kinks or sharp bends, I was carefull of this when fitting.

I had the exact same problem with mine, however it wasnt seated properly, I gave it a good push and felt a little click as if it locked into something, since then its been fine - smooth as a baby's bum as it were!!!!
