That is just nuts; in every respect. Wanted the volume up for the sound of that engine; down for the whooping of the spectators. Eat your heart out Syncrosam !!

Hehe, we think alike... great sound until those hyenas start whooping, yelling and cackling - and worse - whooping, screeching and screaming at the slightest non-event is catching on over here. Yikes, I hate it..

yeah I hate that yeeehaaaa crap and the woohooooooo "pooh"! Really chaps my balls big style. Thats a mad looking dune buggy. Is it remotecontrolled or does it actually have someone driving it?

Hopefully the onlookers were remotely controlled - not to get in the way at the last minute...
looks a bit like a cut down Hummer. Heard on the radio the other night the Hummer has been discontinued, due to falling sales - fuel consumption and a new awareness in the States - ha ha.

I watched this in the office this morning with headphones on and at the moment the guy leaped the canal I shouted an involuntary ' Fu*k!' followed by hasty apologies to my staff..
Suberb. Not sure about the Hummer theory though, isn't the engine in back ? BTW shame they killed off the H1 and not the H2 as well...

You're a very understanding person then Julie and not an old misery guts like me

It
might be appreciation, but that guy hooting his head off time and time again is a bit OTT, dontcha think... the thing's long gone and he's still at it

At least its in the middle of a desert and not the Albert Hall - but give it a few more years, a few more cackling American soaps on British TV and you never know, your dreams of whooping nirvana might be met here too

No silly me, but there's just one angle though as it drives off that the cab looked Hummerish...
Neat, powerful, and looks well built, suited to the task - reminded me of Sharon Davies!
That wasn't knocked up for a couple of grand, I bet

you crack us up Clive.
There is a guy who lives near me who would do crazy stunts like that. He's self built 2 sand rails, one is a 5 cyl 2.8 audi powered small thing. The other is a monster V6 Audi powered thing with LPG AND power steering
