Hi,

Has anyone got a photo and/or diagram of where exactly the starter motor bush goes into the bellhousing?
I'm having problems starting up, so bought a new bush to replace as its a brand new stater motor - problem is I can't quite see where the old bush is?! it's a 1988 1.9 watercooled

Difficult to see it without a mirror, or a long and very flexible neck! Hope this helps:

ah excellent thanks!
it is where i thought it was but i definitley can't see a brass coloured bush in mine - i wonder if that means its disintigrated or there isn't one?!! would make sense as to why it won't start if thats the case! will have apoke around in there tommorow see whats up.
