have developed a really annoying and loud squeak as we are driving, literally even on a nice flat piece of road it is squeaking something rotten and with a trip to france coming up it is going to get really annoying !!
wife thinks it comes from front end drivers side and i think front end passengers side!!! petrol tank was replaced recently but seems nice and tightly fitted with very little play in the brackets
are there any usual culprits before i start looking too deeply into where it is coming from?? its definately at the front end of the van

Had the same thing... some nicely lubricated wishbone bushes did the trick. Got mine from Brickwerks.

^^^^^^ WHS..when your both sat on top of the culprit you cant work out which side it is.
its an embarrassing noise too when in urban areas

its all in the wiki mate
you dont need a grinder to sort out the tacks..you can hacksaw them..but you will need someone to put the tacks on after you have fitted them(unless you have a welder)

The line "unless you're dicking about with some toffee stick of a hammer" still makes me roar. Glad it was left in

Getting them out wasn't that bad. Getting them in needed patience....
I used putty metal weld stuff instead of welding and seems.to be on there quite strongly.
Good luck
