I Need an engine tune

Hi Guys
Is there any club members near Milton Keynes or Bedford area that can help me tune my 1981 2ltr air cooled, it has twin solex carbs.
I don't think it is running as well it might and I am not to sure how to set up twin carbs or dwell angle and timing etc.
I have gapped plugs and points ok, but the rest is where I need a hand. It also has a 009 dizzy.
If no members can help can anyone recommend a garage in the Beds / Bucks area??
Cheers Jay

Hmmmm
I have had the camper only a few weeks and this 009 dizzy was already fitted, also had short reach plugs which i have changed.
I do have the old dizzy in amongst a box of bits that came with it. No idea why it was swapped out, no idea how to check if its any good either.
So I need to get the old one back on I guess!
Would fitting an electronic ignition negate the 009 problem?

The 009 has no vacuum advance. These engines on revs fire at something silly like 40 degrees before TDC the 009 only manages about half of that.
The 009 is limiting the revs and power.
get shut asap

i got the whole lot (dizzy, coil, vac pipes wiring etc) from the scrapper for 80 quid. Made so much difference

Bin the 009, completely wrong for a T25, and put the original dizzy back on and see what happens. It might need rebuilding, new hall sensor etc.
Try these, they are in Bletchley

Failing that I use a guy in Eaton Bray, call Wayne on 01525-222223
