Oil change for Diesel JX 1.6 T.D..............how much??

Time for an oil change......................
If I drain the oil without changing the oil filter how much will it take back in.....???
3, 4 or 5 litres??
Does anyone know exactly??

we got 4.5 L in the shed, but if we need to buy more oil we wont do it tonite !!
aint yours a 1.9 now????

How much did I used to put in.....hmm, gallons of the bleedin stuff! never did an oil change on the 1.6, for the 1.9 it would be 4.5l I'm sure.
Go get another can, then you'll have some spare, change the filter, drain everything and shove in 4l, turn engine over, let it settle and see where it is on the dippy? Add more as nec.
But you don't need me to tell you that.

Thinking about it, I ve been told 4.5 ltrs from empty, but sorry Matt not sure if that is with or without filter change.

Just still in the workshop, at least it under cover in the dry. It'll be ready when its ready to be ready.

4.5lt dry with filter 4lt if your to tight to change the filter but at lease its better than say oil change? whats that then?
