Evening all

I have been asked to get someones going. Not being used to this type of fridge thats why I thought I would ask here
I have checked for gas and a spark, thats all there, trouble is that it wont light. You look in the sight window and the "flame" is very orange, could this be that the jet needs a little clean?
Many thanks
Steve

How do Mike, it tries to ignite with a "poof" but wont stay alight.
Do I keep clicking away to try and get it to light?
I now have found out that it's been stood for about 2 years.

Ah, understood, yes the kerching kerching, know it well, is it a manual piezo button? if so then hold the gas know in for 3-4 seconds and see if there is a slightly larger poof!!! ,
If its not been lit for a while then could be flue blocked with crud, more likely muck and crud has dropped down onto the jet and stops propper combustion, orange flame on poof too, they also dont like lighting when nearly out of gas well mine didnt, so there you go, not much but hope it helps

Thanks Mike and Kev for the help, got it working for the woman tonight. Took it out, turned it upside down and cleaned the jet out. Fired up after the 4th push of the starter and now working a treat. And there was some crud that came out of the flue when it was turned upside down.
Cheers
