My mate had the full exhaust done in stainless steel. But he got rid of the exchangers completly. Just put gloves on in the winter.

It cost 245 quid in a place in cardiff

Just replaced my silencer and heat exchangers.

Turbo Thomas made me a stainless muffler and replaced heat exchangers with some stainless j tubes.. Real nice setup, excellent work.
Cant get some pics if interested

Same as above. I'm going to do away with the heat exchangers and get a nice Turbo Thomas stainless system. From memory the "J" tubes were about £225 and the silencer about £325. Google Turbo Thomas, he has a web site showing the various options.

Or theres my bike silencer mod in 'exhausts' in the WIKI. Worked great on mine as I too had the earlier exhaust system.
