After a discussion with my garage that fitted my recon i have been advised to chnage the oil. So I got under the van with the large socket to open the sump plug and to my supprise the sump plug was only 12mm or maybe 1/2 inch in size. And not the great bigen that i had before.
Anyway, have any CU engines have such a small sump plug? Or what size should it be?
Cheers folks
The nightmare continues

Well I have just found out that it should be an M14 which has a 22mm spanner size. Well mine is well rounded but is only around 12 or 13mm
Whats going on hear then?
Could it have a sump for a 1600? or is it a 1600 with twin carbs on it?
Cheers
Its gonna go back anyway, I just need to know these things.

The sump plug on a CU has an M14 thread, but the head takes a 13mm spanner. So it's probably the right one, just a bit rounded off. See -

Rightr well that solves that then. I did have a look at the JK one it just looks like the thread is a similar size to the head. Probably a bad piccy then
