Event in Scotland (UPDATED)

I spoke to Walter at Glentarkie and the costs for 2 days in the mud and camping would be £50 per vehicle. The site is excellent with a good mix of non damaging and serious stuff. Availability is fine. Anytime we want. I suggest the weekend of the 28th August as it is a public holiday on the Monday (at least it is in England), other choices would be 21st August or the 1st of September. Before the 21st is too soon for me. If your interested email me at mud@aircooledcrazy.com with your preferred dates (in rank order). I take it we can cover everyone under the clubs insurance (public liability stuff I mean)? I haven't checked but I am guessing Glentarkie has its own insurances if not.
Hi everyone. I am never allowed out to play for events like Syncropendance so am thinking about organising a Scottish event. I think I can get the following site for a day/2 days. Haven't investigated costs yet but will do if the interest is there.
The site I am thinking of is
http://www.glentarkie.co.uk/. It is a cracking site not far from Edinburgh (search for Glentarkie on youtube). I have been up a load of times in my old red beast. Camping wise I will need to investigate as I am not sure if the site can cater for that. Sure I can find something nearby.
The question is who would come and when is the best time to arrange it (month).

If you can make it the first weekend of the May half term, ie the weekend before the bank holiday I would love to come. Would combine it with a trip up to either the Trossachs or West Coast, or Glen Affric or somewhere. Would bring the whole family.
The Trekka would do alright as well.

You must be a mind reader Slobbo.
I was just discussing this with Clive over the weekend. And Glentrackie would probably be the one to try.
Wondered if we made it late Autum if we could still fit it in this year, but that puts us into midge season, so perhaps delaying till next spring may be best. Give me a call and Ill help out.

Don't think midges will be a problem. Don't think they hang about there. I have emailed Walter. Will let you know what he says.

Yes! Having just got my Syncro in Edinburgh, bring it on!
Especially as I only found out about SyncroPendence today, having been down at a party down south last weekend anyway... I would have loved to try my new toy in some mud.
