exhaust time

hi anyone know where to get an exhaust for my camper its a watercooled 1.9 dg engine on a april 87 t25/t3 looked on the tinternet and there seems to be 2 types one has an inlet one end and an outlet at the other end, mine is the type where it feeds in from behind into the side on both ends like a beetle if that makes sense, cheers guys. thought i best change it just at the stage where its just about making a blowing noise but it got its mot begining of the week and the guy didnt say a word about it. actually passed with no adviseries much to my surprise lol.

you can fit either but the late exhaust needs silencer hangers... which you would need.

If you missed my notes on this, if you look under 'exhaust' in the WIKI, you can fit a header and stainless bike silencer on yours.

Last section of that page - and its a darned sight quieter than an EMPI. Noticeably better performance too.

hi guys thanks for the replies but i was only going to replace the rear silencer part as all the connecting tubework is still sound so does anyone know where to get just the silencer bit?

lol i know, been to gsf today and they had one on the shelf with a gaskit kit, was a sunny afternoon so jacked up camper and set to with the angle grinder (bolts to rusted away) 2 hours and new one was on, had forgotten what it should sound like. on the downsid i noticed a damp patch under waterpump grrr
