leaky oil pressure switch

Sorry if this has already been covered on here before..I couldn't find any info
We have an oil leak from the high pressure switch at the rear of the engine.
The van is booked in to change it at the local garage and so I need to order one.
Looking at JK's sit it seems there are different colours/ratings for switches.
Does anyone know which is the correct switch ? The van is an '86 1.9DG
I am guessing at the .75 - 1.05
Cheers!

Read these oil pres. senders from Brickwerks ... you'll have to follow the brown wire back to where the 2 brown DOPS wires meet the coloured wires.

Thanks for getting back so quickly!
Right...I have had a look.
The brown wire for the high pressure switch connects to a yellow one
The brown wire for the low pressure switch (near pushrod tubes) goes to blue.

According to Brickwerks site..there are three possibles:
0.9 bar
1.4 bar
1.8 bar

Is there anyway of knowing which of these 3 I would need without removing the old one first??

I would imagine all 3 would work, the 1.8 bar switch would tell you there was a low oil pressure issue before the 0.9 bar would, could be wrong there though ?

Thats what I think Ian.
My guess would have been the 0.9 bar...but not too sure
I wondered if the 1.4 and 1.8 bar switch would set the buzzer off all the time?
Having had the experience of the buzzer many times (due in the end to the dash circuit)
I dont think I could take it!!

I'd rather know there was a problem early as possible .... but that's up to you

I agree, I would rather know as early as possible..but don't want the buzzer going off all the time without good reason.
Do you happen to know what the oil pressure should be over 2000 rpm?? I cant seem to find out.

Managed to get my hand near the switch and get rid of some of the oil on it.
The colour on the switch is either grey or white...so would be either the 0.9 bar or 1.8 bar.
Thats narrowed it down a bit I think.
If I can't find any more info, I will probably order both. At least that way the garage will have the right one handy. :)
