Having bought a heated tailgate glass and now know it's going to fit (cheere Rob),
what is involved in the wiring. What bits do I need eg on/off toggle switch for the dash pod, relay unit?
Inline fuse?
Any help with info and if anyone has the bits for sale would be great.
Jake

You'll need the relay (the number eludes me at the moment), the switch (T3 ones are notoriously expensive) and you'll need to run a wire from front to back.

My thoughts as well.
I was going down this line along with a rear wiper, couldn't be arsed in the end.

Point taken. The fact mine is a panel van interior at the moment gives easy access for wiring etc-no interior panels to remove etc. I won't be getting involved in the rear wiper sketch but want the rear heated screen.
would any on/off switch do the job even if it meant cutting a slot in the dash?
The relay number would be great if anybody knows it.
Cheers

my switch is under the hazzard light switch.yours should have a blank there.put an ad in wanted for one.one of the breakers on here may have one.and iirc you want to wire it to fuse no13 on your fuse board.cant remember the relay number though.

actually.my bentley manual says says no13 fuse or no14 depending on what options you had when ordering a van from new.
