Hi all.
My T25 has a Nissan Bluebird engine . 2l diesel. pulls really well in first then revs drop when i change to 2nd. the engine is well suited for the van apart for 2nd gear , will cruise at 70 no bother. any ideas about the lack of oomph in 2nd gear???. an has anyone else heard of a bluebird engine in a T25??

new to me that engine conversion but they are not to bad engines from the few I have worked on. sound like the 2nd gear ratio is wrong the engine. what code gearbox do you?

The code on the gearbox is DU . seems to be a petrol gearbox.

Not that great in the box areas but suggest that may well be the problem

Does anyone know which would be the best box for this engine?, its about 80bhp.

5speed 3H would be good or a highish ratio 4 speed petrol box be careful of sme of the iesel 4 speed boxes they can be very low geared .......that low on the limiter at 60mph
