Hi,

I have a T25 Westy 1980 with the twin hob and 3 way fridge.

I have installed a gas bottle and UK regulator, and with the bottle on there is definately gas at the first union, after that union there are 3 taps, with three outlets to the hobs and fridge.

Problem is, I can't get the hobs or the fridge to light, no matter what combination of tap on/off position I use. Its liie a friggin rubiks cube trying different settings.

Can anyone help with which position they should be in, and any advice?

Thanks in advance.

On mine the taps are in the cupboard under the sink?

There are two red (one for fridge one for the cooker) and one yellow.

The yellow one has to be in the direction of the pipe ie. vertical, the two red ones then have to again follow the direction of the pipe for the appliance, ie. horizontal.

Perhaps this may help

Thanks, I've tried that method already, but I'll give it another go.

How long does it take the gas to get through to the hob?

plastic handles could be broken or the valve stem snapped, try replacing
them, make sure the valves you use are rated for gas

If you turn the tap you can actually see it moving in and out a small amount on mine. Obviously the further out position is on. Couldn't light my fridge at vanwest until my brother pointed out the 0 was for zero not on like I thought
