T25 under body tanks.

Hi,
I'm looking to convert my T25 2.0L to LPG later this year, using kit from
http://www.tinleytech.co.uk/home.html.
The thing is, I want to mount 2 tanks underneath the camper, in between the chassis rails, as I need all the room inside for storage, and I'd like to increase the range.
Has anyone done this, does somebody produce the ideal sized tank?
Thanks in advance.

All our NHS wagons that run on lpg have there tank under the van.
I think it has something to do with the clearance ,Steve Shaw will be able to tell you when he pops on

To put the legal point to it, underfloor tanks are quite legal and accepted providing that the clearance between the base of the tank and the road surface is no less that 280mm on full depression of the vehicle suspension.
You may struggle with getting insurance for a self fitted kit, You may not, yoa may be asked to get an engineers report into the safety of the system, a lot of installers will turn you away on a self fit kit, including us.
Be aware that even if you do get insurance, in the event of you needing to claim, the insurance assessor will try his utmost to negate the claim and if you have self fitted especially with anything that does not comply to the COP11 standard of the LPGA (thats were the 280mm comes from) and marked up to the correct standard R67-01, they will refuse to pay out, seen it too often with the cheapskate farmers here in North Wales, just pointing out the pitfalls fella, at the end of the day its up to you what you do with your bus and money.

Steve, I actually called you a couple of days ago enquiring about DIY kits.
I'm fairly determined to do this myself, partially due to the saving, but mainly cos I like doing stuff like this.
Of course I realise the legal and insurance implications and I'm prepared to follow them.
Now, back to my original question.
Does anyone produce the ideal sized tanks for me to fit underneath the T25?
Thanks again!

Sorry got lost in the translation somewhere, no there is no underbody tank avaialble, the only one you might get away with is a 42ltr torroidal tank in place of the spare wheel, once the 280mm is taken up you have approximately 120mm to play with, smallest diameter tank is 200mm.
there are one or two on here who have done it themselves, might be asn idea to contact them for experience and as I said on the phone we do not and cannot supply DIY kits, it contravenes the LPGA code of practice.

Thanks Steve, thats more like the information I was after.
I'd prefer twin underbody tanks, but if thats not possible, then I'll have to go for an underseat and maybe wardrobe one.
Who are the people on here who have done DIY installations?

I have done 2, one single tank and one twin tank, both straight forward, bits were from tinley tech. Had inspection done at local lpg place no problems but i am a mechanic, not sure if they do them for anyone.

Thanks Andy, I'm a aircraft technician with a fair bit of experience in engine transplants (1.8T 20v in my Scirocco

) and I reckon I could handle the fitment. (time will tell)
Thanks to everyone for their input.
I now have enough info to get going.
