Using the Westfalia loom in a Kombi

It's time to start chopping holes in the side of the van for stuff like water and 240v.
I've ordered the relevant sockets, a 63A (16a+6a) RCD unit and some suitable cable.
I'm fitting a Westfalia fridge/cooker setup with (hopefully) the proper loom. Given that my van already has a factory split charge relay installed I was wondering how I should connect the Westfalia loom (terminates under the seat in a 6 pin socket) to the split charge relay system and how to replace the 'Ladegerat' charger unit which is not present and would by all accounts be obselete these days.
Anyone got any ideas?
