Ashbourne - Cancelled

Ashbourne advert

We will be making a decision whether to go ahead with this event, tomorrow at 7-30 pm...

We need more firm bookings before tomorrow evening to avoid losing money on this event as it is a fixed price site.

This is in a lovely part of the country with the opportunity to explore the Natonal Park as well as join in or watch the off-road antics.

Some syncro drivers plan to explore the local area by green-laning on the Sunday... seeing countryside from a completely different perspective.

If you intend to come please let us know asap and Paypal us £20 for the booking fee. This allows camping on Friday and Saturday nights, we'll be barbecuing Sat night, so bring some grub.

Cancelled...

Sorry, but we cannot go ahead with only 5or 6 firm bookings only 2 days before the event.

Anyone who has booked and paid will have their cheques returned or refunded.

And thanks for booking for those that did... lets hope this event can be run next year, without being quite so near many other weekends away. The site, time of year and lovely position in the country offer a lot. We just need more like 15 to 20 committing to it, and we'll go for it again.

I get the feeling the Ashbourne meet has not so much been cancelled, as moved location, and lost the 'off-road' bit........
