Very nice, That's £45K ish. What would you have? That, a average house deposit or a used RangeRover? 8)

They really know how to charge :rofl for what is really a converted 2WD westy with a big WBX. No thanks, not at that kind of money.
Over here, about a third of that at the absolute most, even if I'd won the lottery jackpot...
I'm surprised it's still for sale. You'd think they'd be queued around the block

They love all that "good ole boys" chrome plate-it-to-death overkill photo resto bull in the US. Not to say that they can't do a good job, but I have been on the rework end of some Americans attempts at restoration and it doesn't inspire confidence. There all about shine and sparkle combined with plenty of flannel.

With the weak pound, I'm thinking of adverstising on Samba (& german ebay come to that) but is there any major issues, costs that buyer would have to consider? Apart from obviously the transport costs (anyone got a up-to-date idea of shipping to the US). Is there mountains of red-tape? :idea

In a shared container its about $2500 to the east coast. Not sure about red tape but there is different rules in different states for vehicle import.

Lots and lots of read tape no matter were in the states plus a large cost involved.
